Clean Tile and Grout have recently deep cleaned the restaurant floor and colour sealed the floor in the male guest toilets.

The restaurant floor was a manmade porcelain tile emulating natural terracotta. The grout lines were large and had a build up of dirt and grease which had in turn made them black.

The work had to take place at the Hotels quietest time which was Sunday afternoon and be completed by Dinner so arriving guests could eat.

Two teams of two using truck mounted equipment worked for 4 hours to clean the 200 metres of tile. The change in the grout lines was quite profound and the room looked so much brighter and crisper once cleaned.

The men’s toilet had recently been retiled. However the grout lines after just six weeks had already begun to discolour. The colour Delorean grey was used and applied by two engineers on wheelie boards. The clean and the colour sealing took 4 hours and restored the grout back to new.

In the New Year Clean tile and Grout are returning to deep cleaning the safety floors and the tiled walls in the staff changing rooms.
