The History of Grout Perfect

In 2008 Steve Poole visited Dick Pollock of Grout Perfect in the States to discuss the opportunity of importing Grout Perfect into the UK. Dick Pollock manufactures the premier grout sealing product and runs a service business in Florida providing colour sealing.

Steve Poole and Contracts manager John Harman attended a two day training programme. “we came back from the States excited by the potential of the product and the sheer scale of the market place that was opening before us”

Initially Clean Tile and Grout used the product within its own service business. Both Dick and Steve felt this was the best way to learn the potential of the product in the UK Market place. Over the next 12 months Clean Tile and Grout carried out both commercial and private jobs large and small. It was a steep learning curve but the quality of results and the ease at which these were achieved kept the team focused.

It was decided at this point that Clean Tile and Grout start selling Grout Perfect in the UK and across Europe.

What does Grout Perfect achieve?

Grout is a cementatious material used between tiles. It is porous and allows moisture and dirt to penetrate it. Since tiles are used in bathrooms and kitchens the builds up of the dirt and moisture in the porous grout means in the worst circumstances it can turn black as well as harbour odours related to these areas.

Grout Perfect is a grout sealer – once applied it does not allow the penetration of any moisture –better than that it comes in twelve standard colours and when applied looks and feels like grout.
